A Turn in the Road

A Turn in the Road by Debbie Macomber

Another fun read by my favorite author, Debbie Macomber. I read this book in June 2011 while vacationing in Mexico. It’s a story about three generations of women that all end up on a road trip together, each for their own reasons. My favorite memories growing up all include my grandmother, great aunt, mother, and cousins all together camping, eating, cooking, shopping, talking. I love women’s relationships and especially when each generation feels as though they can learn from the other. A Turn in the Road is exactly that kind of book. Each woman is dealing with their own set of issues and they’re able to make sense of them all as the odometer count rises.
