Silent Governess by Julie Klassen

Earlier this year I read Lady of Milkweed Manor, also by Julie Klassen and loved it. Historical fiction is a new genre that I’ve fallen in love with. Especially books that include redemptive qualities amidst wet nurses of the 1800’s. In July 2011, I read Silent Governess and was immersed in the world of governesses of the 1800’s. But this particular governess has a secret that she’s forbade to tell and even more secrets that she’s determined to uncover and expose, even in her silence.
